How Did You Apply?
The internship was On-Campus.
First Day Formalities, Infrastructure, First Impression
The infrastructure was so good. I was so excited to work with such a fantastic company. The ambience was very nice. My first day was all about meeting new faces and having good communication with my mentors, the consultants in PwC, and other interns.
Main Tasks
My main tasks were to coordinate with my mentors for the Smart City’s Projects like Cycles for Change, Freedom for Walk, etc. I have also worked for the B-Nest Incubation Centre where I have worked on documentation for various Startups and have done professional email writing as well.
Work Environment
The Work Environment was very nice. The Smart City has 4 main floors for particular tasks. The 1st floor is the B-Nest Incubation Centre where 50+ Startups are there, it means you can learn as many technologies as you can and I think that is the best part of the Smart City. 2nd Floor is for Traffic Controlling and ICCC Centre where you can see the whole of Bhopal’s traffic and you can also learn how the people control all the activities happening in the whole city. The 3rd Floor is all about the Metro Office as Bhopal is now becoming the Metro City. The 4th Floor is of Bhopal Smart City’s Office. So, there are diversifying environments which you are going to experience if you get selected.
Good Things
I would say that was the best experience ever as I’m having many good contacts from there and have learnt many things.
Bad Things
The bad thing was the internship should be paid.
Stipend
No stipend was provided.
How Did You Manage the Accommodation With Commuting to the Office?
I had to manage my accommodation on my own, as the distance was very less like 2 km only.
