Job Description
The Digital Services Factory develops digital products and solutions for the T.EN business and their Clients. The rapidly growing product portfolio currently comprises a dozen of live offering covering the full lifecycle of plants, from design to operations & maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate to the Software development
- Participate in staffing the Indian team for the Factory, co-conducting interviews and proposing technical tests for candidates
- Ensuring that the Indian team members have a good workload, according to their skills and the project needs
- Helping Indian team well-being, good working conditions, and company rules enforcement (particularly in terms of safety and security)
- Facilitate good relationship between the Indian team and the Digital Services Factory management and the other team members.
Key Activities
- Participate to the development of the Digital Services portfolio through software design, architecture, development, and test, and participate to the different agile rituals
- Assist the Digital Services Factory technical lead, who supervises the complete software team, with the local supervision of the developers located in India – the main objectives being to ensure that the team is empowered, has proper individual and collective objectives, and the proper working conditions
- Proactively proposes ideas for improving team efficiency and well-being
- Technological watch
Requirements
Essential:
- Computer science degree or equivalent – at least 10 years of experience in software development, including 3 years in software team lead
- Very good analytics, organization, and communication skills
- Fluent English
- Very good proficiency in software development, including mastery of .NET / C#, Javascript/Angular
- Experience in cloud applications development and operations, preferably on Microsoft Azure
- Database management, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
Preferred:
- Knowledge and experience of Agile software development and Lean principles
- Experience in CI/CD tools, including code quality check, automated testing, cyber-security, or production monitoring tools
- Worked with control systems and data historians, such as PI
- Experience in the Energy sector is a plus
