Job Description
- We are looking for a Senior software engineer with Polarion ALM experience in Immunoassay R&D.
- Within immunoassay R&D we focus on engineering solutions for point-of-care (POC) immunoassay testing. Our products enable caregivers working in acute care to make critical diagnostics decisions fast.
- Our product AQT90 FLEX offers a range of biomarkers, that cover myocardial infarction, heart failure, infection, venous thromboembolism, and pregnancy.
- The position is situated in Bengaluru, India. You will be actively working with R&D teams in Denmark, Finland & India. In this role, as a Polarion ALM engineer.
- You will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, documentation and administration of Polarion ALM.
- In addition, you will drive automation and tool development strategy to aid improved product development processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop sustainable ALM system solutions, by configuring the Polarion system and aligning with QMS
- Work with stakeholders to define solutions, ensuring alignment with business strategies and priorities
- Training teams regarding tool usage, features and functionality including workflow and updates to quality instructions or policies
- Continuous process improvements implementation, testing and validation of tools
- Administrative processes like license management, user creation, access management as well as project settings
- Work with JIRA filters, reporting, dashboards, workflow, fields and JIRA administration
Requirements
- a)Formal education
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or equivalent
- b)“Must Have” Competencies / Skills / Experience
- A software developer with 2-5 years of overall experience
- Ability to design, build and configure applications to meet business requirements
- Self-starter who drives proactively activities which are in their own area of responsibility.
- Hands-on experience with ALM tools like Polarion, DOORS or similar
- Hands-on experience in task management and reporting tools like PowerBI, JIRA, Confluence, etc
- Experience in Polarion configuration and administration is preferred (SDK, API, workflows, reports, templates, access, permissions, etc.)
- Experience with programming and scripting languages, e.g., C#, Python, Java, Java Script, etc
- Experience with version control systems like GIT, SVN, etc
- c)Language
- Proficiency in English both written and verbal
- d)Travel (required estimated % of the time)
- Travel ~10% (Based on the business needs during the Non-COVID times)
- e)Others
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience in a regulated industry such as medical device, automotive or aerospace.
- Knowledge of Quality management systems.
