About ULIP Logixtics Hackathon 2.0
ULIP Logixtics Hackathon 2.0, presented by NLDSL (NICDC Logistics Data Services Limited) in collaboration with Niti Aayog – Atal Innovation Mission and Startup India, aims to address the pressing issues of logistics sector by fostering innovation and creativity among talented individuals and teams. We invite you to join this initiative to develop groundbreaking solutions that can revolutionize the logistics landscape in India.
NICDC Logistics Data Services Ltd. (NLDSL) has been at the forefront of transforming India’s logistics sector through innovative solutions and strategic initiatives. By leveraging advanced technology, NLDSL has enhanced efficiency, transparency, and digitization within the industry.
Award
There’s a total of 20 lakh cash prize pool. 5 Lakhs to one team for the most innovative solution. 3 Lakhs each to Top 5 Winning Teams in each problem statement.

About ULIP
ULIP acts as a digital gateway for industry players, giving them access to logistics-related datasets from government systems through API-based integration. ULIP provides an integrated platform that can be effectively utilized by the stakeholders to enhance efficiency, utilize technology, and reduce the cost of logistics in India.
Beyond private players, ULIP supports government decision-making by delivering synthesized data to ministries and departments, including the Ministry of Coal, the Food Corporation of India (FCI), and state governments.
Important Points
- You can register for the Hackathon after the registration gets open i.e 24th September 2024. All applications will be accepted online.
- Link to the data sets that can be used to build this challenge: Refer to the datasets here.
- Shortlisted entities for Stage-2 ‘Prototype Development’ will be hosting the application on their own infrastructure.
- There is no fee at any point during the Hackathon.
- The challenge would comprise of 2 stages: Ideation stage and Prototype stage.
- Open source is not prohibited.
- All shortlisted applicants for stage 2 – Prototype development have to sign the NDA document to get API access to the datasets. NDA may be found here.
- The Hackathon will be conducted Online and Offline. Only the finale event will be organised offline.
