About HackTheChain 3.0
HackTheChain 3.0 is the premier event of Nexus, the annual technical fest at IIIT Kota. As the flagship hackathon, it gathers the brightest minds from across the nation, offering a platform for innovative thinkers, developers, and problem-solvers to showcase their skills. The hackathon focuses on cutting-edge technologies such as blockchain, AI, Web3, and cybersecurity, fostering creativity and real-world solutions over an intense 24-hour coding marathon.
Participants will have the opportunity to work on challenges designed by industry leaders, making it a unique confluence of innovation and technology. With exciting prizes, networking opportunities, and exposure to leading sponsors, HackTheChain 3.0 is set to elevate the spirit of innovation and set new benchmarks in the realm of hackathons.

Eligibility
- The hackathon is open to all students, regardless of their college or academic background.
- Inter-college team members are allowed.
- Inter-specialization team members are allowed
Guidelines
- Teams must consist of 1 to 5 members.
- Each participant can be part of only one team.
Themes
- Web Development: Develop innovative solutions that use web technologies to solve problems efficiently and bring meaningful innovation to benefit users.
- App Development: Develop innovative solutions using app development technologies to solve problems and bring impactful innovation to users.
- AI/ML: Leverage Generative AI and Machine Learning to develop apps that enhance automation, analysis, and decision-making.
- Ethereum & Blockchain: This track is for Ethereum ecosystem projects, including those on EVM-compatible chains like Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, etc.
- Business Innovation: Tackle real-world business challenges and develop innovative solutions that can be scaled into full-fledged startups.
- Open: This track welcomes diverse and boundary-pushing ideas, using emerging technologies.

Judging Criteria
- Entries will be judged by the judges based on various evaluation criteria.
