Guidelines

The event offers immersive training sessions conducted by Intel experts, providing participants with valuable insights and resources to enhance their understanding of the technologies involved.
Additionally, a robust toolkit comprising Intel AI Analytics Toolkits, Libraries (SYCL/DPC++), and optimized frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Quantum SDK equips participants with the necessary tools to tackle complex problems effectively.
Throughout the hackathon, participants will have access to domain-specific reference kits and open AI software tools, empowering them to create impactful solutions for real-world issues.
Networking opportunities with fellow developers and industry experts further enrich the experience, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange.
The rules of the hackathon outline the structure of each round and the criteria for participation. In the Idea Submission Phase, participants must formulate their ideas exclusively using Intel AI Analytics Toolkits, Libraries, and SYCL/DPC++ Libraries.
Timely submission of PowerPoint presentations converted to PDF format is crucial, with the optional inclusion of GitHub repository links for the ideation phase.
Participants must submit prototypes via public GitHub repositories linked to DevMesh accounts for the Prototype Development Phase. The codebase must be accessible within the team’s repository, with equal emphasis on deployment and inference benchmarking with and without Intel oneAPI. Hardware implementations may be demonstrated via video submissions hosted on GitHub.
In the final round, the 24-hour hackathon phase, shortlisted participants receive ANOKHA passports for admission to Amrita University. Accommodation arrangements are to be managed independently, with detailed information on the ANOKHA website. Further instructions and updates will be communicated as the event progresses.

Eligibility

Undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students.
Irrespective of the experience level, a seasoned developer or a novice stepping into the world of technology, this hackathon will provide an ideal space to learn, grow, and innovate.

Stages

Round 1: Ideation Phase

Participants are mandated to exclusively leverage Intel® AI Analytics Toolkits,
Libraries & SYCL/DPC++ Libraries in formulating their ideations.
Ideations must be presented in PowerPoint format and converted to PDF for
submission. Uploaded via Google Drive links.
A designated PowerPoint template shall be provided, covering all requisite points for inclusion
in submissions.
Optional inclusion of GitHub repository link for ideation phase.
Timely submission through the hackathon dashboard is imperative to avoid
disqualification.
Submitting a video explaining your idea and the problem statement will give the
team has a better chance to qualify for the next round.

Round 2: Registration Round

After Registering for the event, participants are required to follow the instructions in the official intel AI hackathon conducted as part of Anokha Techfest 2024 in Amrita Vishwa Vidhyapeetham Coimbatore, organized by IETE Studnet Forum.
