About SBH 2024
Smart Bengal Hackathon is a statewide initiative to provide engineering and school students with the opportunity to solve some of the common problems we face daily. Thus, it aims to inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of real-time problem-solving.
Themes
- Intelligent Transportation and Logistics: Submit your ideas to address the growing pressures on the city’s resources, transport networks, and logistic infrastructure.
- Agriculture, Foodtech, and Rural Development: They are developing solutions, considering the need to enhance India’s primary sector—agriculture—and to manage and process our agricultural produce.
- Clean/Green Technology: Solutions could include waste segregation, disposal, and improved sanitization systems.
- Renewable and sustainable energy: Innovative ideas that help manage and generate renewable /sustainable sources more efficiently.
- Blockchain and Cybersecurity: Provide ideas for using decentralized and distributed ledger technology to store digital information, which powers cryptocurrencies and NFTs and can radically change multiple sectors.
- Fitness and Sports: Ideas that can boost fitness activities and assist in keeping fit.
