Responsibility

  • Development of electro-mechanical products considering mechanical & electrical aspects by using 3D. software SolidWorks & AutoCAD in PDM environment.
  • Follow concept creation and generated detailed design.
  • Development of sheet metal components and assemblies in SolidWorks.
  • Maintain and update the drawing database with design documents.

Education & Qualification

  • Min. Diploma or BE in Mechanical/Production.
  • Min. 2-3 years of experience in designing sheet metal components and assemblies.
  • Min. 2 years hands-on experience of using any 3D mechanical software is mandatory – SolidWorks is preferred.
  • Min. 1-year hands-on experience using 2D software AutoCAD is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing & assembly of sheet metal components is mandatory.
  • Working in product data management (PDM) is preferred.
  • Experience working on the electro-mechanical design aspect of Low-voltage switchboards is preferred.
  • Knowledge of general tolerances and tolerance stack is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of product standard IS/IEC 61439-1/2 and associated type-testing is preferred.
  • Expertise in MS Excel. Hands-on with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with ISO system, documentation & design release process.
