Job Description

We are currently looking for a Model-based Developer to join the Powertrain Team. As a Model Based developer you will be working over the whole span of activities of embedded system design and development. For instance, you will be working on Combustion system,driveline.

Eligibility

PhD Scholars registered with any university in India or abroad in a relevant academic discipline, currently employed or doing projects in specifically identified areas (Currently pursuing Ph.D.).

Responsibilities

  • This position is within GTT (Group Trucks Technology) Powertrain Engineering where we work with multiple systems and components within the design and development of our products for various trucks and bus ranges supporting global sites in both medium-duty and heavy-duty areas.
  • Use graphical programming tools such as Simulink or ASCET so that we can focus on the products we develop.
  • To be successful in this position you need to be a team player and have an analytic mindset of a true problem solver.
  • You have experience/understanding from the automotive industry, system development, or software development or you are a Function Developer with a great attitude working cross-functional and have a willingness to learn and take more responsibility.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Good Knowledge of Model-Based Development.
  • Automotive Understanding from the propulsion domain (combustion engines, EATS, driveline, electromobility).
  • Ph.D. in Electronics / Electrical & Electronics / Control system Engineering or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
  • Automotive experience, MATLAB/Simulink model development, Target link, C, Embedded SW/HW, Control theory, HIL CAN, LIN, ISO 26262, J1939, AUTOSAR, Systems Engineering, Python.
    Preferred: Function/SW development for Powertrain products understanding the technical aspects of transmission.

Period

Paid program of nine-month duration.
