The team focuses on innovating and executing the R&D strategy for GE Aerospace, addressing a variety of challenges—from developing inspection solutions for aircraft engines to creating predictive and prescriptive analytics aimed at enhancing process efficiencies across the business.

Job Description

GE Aerospace Research is seeking highly motivated individuals with a proven track record in natural language processing, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to join their team as Research Interns.

  • Setup and execute CFD simulations for various aerospace applications, including combustion, internal flow and heat transfer analyses.
  • Analyse and interpret simulation results to provide insights into fluid flow, heat transfer, and aerodynamic performance.
  • Collaborate with engineers and researchers to develop and validate CFD/thermal models, focusing on combustion, aerodynamic and thermal aspects.
  • Support the development of new methodologies and tools for CFD analysis, including combustion, aero and heat transfer applications.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Any programming experience
