Job Description
Target Corporation is offering the BounceBack program, a 36-week internship designed for women professionals who have taken a career break and are looking to re-enter the workforce in the field of Data Analytics. This program provides hands-on experience in advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and optimization, allowing participants to work on real-world retail challenges alongside collaborative teams. As part of the Data Analytics India team, interns will contribute to solving complex problems related to customer behavior prediction, sales forecasting, operational efficiency, and inventory management. This opportunity enables candidates to enhance their skill set, gain industry exposure, and make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and inclusive work environment.
Qualifications
- 3 years of relevant work experience (in the Consulting/Analytics domain in the past)
- 2+ years of ongoing break from work
- Very strong Math skills and Quantitative Ability
- Prior experience working in algorithms and programming (Primary Skillset – SQL, R/SAS/Python)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with large datasets to glean meaningful insights
- Keen to develop business acumen
