Job Description

  • In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform a vital role in contributing to the company’s strategic objectives. Each day, you will make a positive impact on information systems operations by supporting and collaborating with the business.
  • You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the comprehensive Global Early Talent Pro-gram as per the plan.
  • This role is contributing to the Process Automation Business Area, Information Systems Function in India. Main stakeholders are Process Automation Business and IS leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the implementation, delivery, and continuous improvement of technology solution and services within the defined area as directed.
  • Contributing to multiple assignments with clearly defined Key Performance Indicators across various countries to broaden your experience and further develop inter-cultural skills.
  • Delivering the assigned tasks/projects within the assignment period. Participating in required formal training programs (e.g., Leadership Challenge Program, specific functional training) to develop personal, functional, and leadership skills.
  • The program is made up of three assignments in different roles. One nine-month assignment in your home country as an introduction to the business.
  • One six-month assignment abroad to get an overview of ABB’s operations in a different environment/role and work on an exciting assignment with a different team, expanding your network. One nine-month assignment back to the home country/home business, where you will deepen your knowledge of the business and of your function.

Qualifications and Skill Sets

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably Master’s level) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Systems Management or a similar field and graduating in May/June 2025
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of latest technology trends and disruptive tech-nologies.
  • A growth mindset focused on continual learning and improvement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to learn and grow from a diverse set of experiences and people within the IT function
  • Excited to explore living and working in Bangalore and outside of India. Relocation assistance is provided.
  • Must have valid India work authorization and must not require sponsorship for an employment visa by ABB at any time in the future
