About Master Control Facility
Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR (SDSC SHAR), Sriharikota, the Spaceport of India, is one of the lead centres of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space (DOS), Government of India. The Centre provides world class launch base infrastructure for national and international customers in accomplishing diverse launch vehicle/satellite missions for remote sensing, communication, navigation & scientific purposes and is one among the best known names of the Spaceports of the world today. The space centre, which was popularly known as SHAR (Sriharikota Range) was renamed as Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR on September 5, 2002, in fond memory of Prof. Satish Dhawan, former Chairman of ISRO.
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate applying for SDSC-SHAR ISRO Internship should be Citizen of India.
- The SDSC-SHAR Internship/Project Training schemes will provide a platform for the students from academic institutions in the disciplines of Science/Technology to interact with the Scientist/Engineers in DoS/ISRO Centres/Units which will help them to hone their technical skills and propelling them forward in the employment market.
- The candidate should be pursuing UG/PG/PhD from a recognized University/Institution (India/Abroad).
- The candidate should have completed UG/PG from a recognized University/Institution, seeking internship opportunity within 6 months from the date of completion of Course. The candidate should be a student enrolled for regular on-campus program in a recognized University/Institution .
- The candidate should have completed UG/PG/PhD as a regular on campus student.

How to Apply?
- The request letter for SDSC-SHAR Internship/Project shall reach us hrdd[at]shar[dot]gov[dot]in (Head, HRM, Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR, Sriharikota) at least a month in advance to the preferred/tentative start date along with the following documents:
- Bonafide Certificate/ request letter from College
- Consolidated Mark Sheet/ Memorandum of marks stating CGPA (or) % of marks till previous semester
- Copy of the college ID
- Copy of any photo ID (Voters ID / Driving License / Aadhaar Card)
- Contact details viz., Mobile Number, Email ID
- It is to be noted that the bonafide certificate or request letter should be on the letter head of the institution duly signed by the Director/ Principal/ HoD of the institution and should invariably contain all of the following details:
