Job Description: Semiconductor Internship
The Intern – Design Engineer in the FLASH Group at Micron Technology, Inc., will be core technical individual contributor in design and validation of the on-chip controller and mixed signal circuitry in NAND FLASH chips. In this highly visible and challenging role, your responsibilities will include architecture development and product definition, detailed transistor level design, test plan, system integration and verification. Some RTL design and implementation of the controller hardware, design and development of firmware code for NAND internal operations and full-chip Verilog Validation
Responsibilities
- You will work closely with multiple subject areas and teams
- Strong background in solid state physics, semiconductor processing and characterization.
- You have a deep understanding of device operation in memory systems including NAND, DRAM, PCM, storage class, and cross-point memories.
- You have the passion to succeed and ability to independently learn innovative memory systems.
- Highly motivated with strong data analytical skills and experience in automating data analysis methods.
- Self-motivated and hardworking to find creative solutions to challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in the operation and automation of semiconductor instrumentation including, but not totally limited to:
- Parameter analyzers, SPA, SMU
- LCR meters
- Network analyzers
- Oscilloscopes
- Pulse & waveform generators
- Wafer probers
- ATE and bench systems
Preferred Skills
- Knowledgeable in a variety of software tools and operating systems, including but not limited to:
- Python
- C/C++
- Unix/Linux
- PJMP/JSL
Minimum Qualification
- MS or PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
