Job Description

As a Software Intern, You will be responsible for designing and developing Linux-based embedded software for diagnostic cardiology (DCAR) products. You will work independently and contribute to the immediate team and other teams across the business.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Hands-on Linux-based embedded software development; able to create and deliver platform components and application development and analyze and resolve technical issues.
  • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns and C++ coding principles.
  • Interacting with global teams to promote consistency and maximize synergies across common software platforms
  • Ensuring SDLC process compliance during requirements gathering, architecture design, implementation, and verification.
  • Working effectively in an Agile scrum team and continuously improving the team’s performance
  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
  • Ensure compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Outputs/Program Deliverables.
  • Responsible for software quality, including unit testing and system verification.

Qualifications

  • In 3rd or 4th year of college graduate program/Bachelor’s Degree / Master in a relevant Engineering discipline (Electronics or Software is preferred)
  • Strong C and C++ language skills.
  • Should have hands-on experience in Shell/Perl/Python scripting
  • Should have an understanding of generative AI
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Desired Skill Sets

  • Prior industry experience is preferred
  • Expertise in using Source control tools
  • Hardware Expertise: Knowledge of ARM-based processor architecture and knowledge of USB/Flash/LAN/WLAN/Bluetooth technologies.
  • Creative problem solver and solution developer when presented with conflicting requirements, business demands and technical risks/issues
  • Experience in Eclipse, GITLAB
  • Hands-on experience with UI development using QML
  • Knowledge of Python and ability to Automate Integration Testing using Test frameworks like Squish.
