Job description: Supply Chain Intern at NOSH
The organization is seeking motivated and analytical interns to join its team as Supply Chain Interns. In this role, the interns will contribute to critical tasks that directly influence the efficiency of operations. This opportunity offers a dynamic environment for learning and growth, enabling interns to develop expertise in sourcing, supply chain management, cost optimization, and project management.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Vendor Management: Identify, assess, and onboard vendors to establish and maintain a strong and efficient supply chain.
- Cost Efficiency: Analyze procurement expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Project Coordination: Assist in the planning and implementation of supply chain-related projects.
- Data Insights: Evaluate supply chain metrics and generate reports to monitor performance and suggest areas for improvement.
- Procurement Assistance: Support vendor management and ensure the prompt delivery of required goods and services.
- Inventory Management: Help optimize inventory levels by monitoring stock and coordinating replenishment schedules.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation for ongoing initiatives.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and propose effective mitigation strategies.
Requirements
The essential requirements of the job include.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.
- Industrial Engineering, Operations, or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of supply chain processes such as procurement, inventory, and logistics.
- Familiarity with project management principles; knowledge of tools like MS Office, Google Workspace, or project management software is a plus.
- Analytical skills with a working knowledge of Excel or similar tools.
- Exceptionally organized and detail-focused, capable of efficiently managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, fostering collaboration across diverse groups.
- Proactive and solution-driven, with a strong aptitude for problem-solving.
