About Scholarship
Despite significant medical advancements in recent decades, global disparities in healthcare access and the availability of essential medicines continue to persist, with billions of people still unable to receive necessary medical care. The most recent World Health Statistics report reveals that progress is lagging on key health targets for 2025, including universal health coverage (UHC), preparedness for health emergencies, and the “Triple Billion” targets aimed at creating healthier populations. Immediate action is needed to address these challenges and ensure equitable healthcare for all.
Sandoz, a global leader in off-patent medicines, is deeply committed to advocating for a future where everyone has access to affordable, high-quality medications. The company plays a critical role in sustaining healthcare systems and keeping budgets manageable. Recognizing that innovation and broad system-wide solutions are vital to closing healthcare gaps, Sandoz is proud to support the Sandoz Scholarships 2025, in partnership with One Young World. This initiative aims to bring together an interdisciplinary group of five exceptional young leaders to participate in the One Young World Summit in Munich, Germany, from November 3-6, 2025, as part of the global Sandoz delegation.
The scholarship is designed for young leaders who are addressing systemic barriers to healthcare access or developing innovative solutions to promote equitable healthcare and medicine access in their communities, countries, or globally.
