Job Description
- Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a key technology pillar at Visa, responsible for providing secure access to misc. payment-related applications and services from a variety of users (employees, businesses, and customers across) globally.

Responsibilities
As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will:
- Establish strong engineering best practices.
- Own IAM Projects and implementation tracks from ideation to production operationalization.
- Build integrations using Big Data stacks like HDFS, Spark, Kafka, and Elastic Search.
- Design, develop, and testing of IAM components, SOAP/REST services, Core Java, JS Frameworks, Python, and Angular.
- Deploy & Use 3rd parties IAM products like SailPoint or ForgeRock.
- Work with a global team operating in different time zones.
Qualification & Experience
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant work experience and a bachelor’s degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- At least 3+ years of solid experience in delivering production-level engineering solutions supporting Tier 0 and Tier 1 systems.
- 3+ years of Solid hands-on experience as a programmer/developer with specialization in Java and J2EE, Spring boot, Spring core, and Spring security.
- 2+ years of experience implementing Data Analytics using Big Data stacks like HDFS, Spark, Kafka, and Elastic Search.
- 1+ year of experience in building queries to retrieve data from Elastic and Splunk.
- Prior experience in Cryptography, Data encryption, hashing algorithms, and HTTPS / TLS protocols.
- Experience in working on Linux / Windows Platform and bash/shell scripting.
- Experience working on SQLs / PLSQL.
- Experience working on application servers such as JBoss and Tomcat.
- Prior experience in the development of Restful / SOAP services and leveraging SDKs to build APIs.
- Affinity for an engineering culture that emphasizes Agile, DevOps, and continuous delivery.
- Strong inter-personnel, analytical & communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Other Programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and Golang.
- Cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or GCP.

Note: This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
