Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee software and database deployments and design and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Be responsible for AWS infrastructure and numerous AWS services.
- Responsible for tuning the health of our environment and maintaining comprehensive documentation of our infrastructure and tools.
- Refactor production infrastructure while making accurate decisions for future capacity, scaling, and expansion.
- Participate in ground-up infrastructure design and planning for future products and services.
- Participate in a secondary on-call rotation for incidents.
- You will also create and maintains policies, standards, and overall system documentation.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of recent experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- 2+ years of recent experience in AWS (preferred), Azure, and GCP.
- 2+ years of experience operating Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Podman, or related containerization/orchestration technologies in a production environment.
- 2+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Groovy.
- 2+ years of experience with IAC tools such as Terraform (preferred), and Cloud Formation.
- 2+ years of experience with CM tools such as Ansible (preferred), Salt, Chef, and Puppet.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/ Engineering.
- Hashicorp Vault administration or usage.
- Experience with TeamCity, Artifactory, and Octopus.
- Understand networks, protocols, servers, storage systems, and Linux.
- Can self-assess the needs of a system or team, and make a case to prioritize that work.
- Comfortable digging through metrics, and logs, to triage and fix a problem.
- You should be an excellent communicator that is easy to work with, you should be comfortable articulating concepts to stakeholders and management across multiple business functions.
