Job Overview
iHub is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and automating our deployment process, setting up and managing AWS identity, and implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline tools.
You will also be expected to work with managed Influx DB, Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL, and Amazon S3 to support our systems. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the high availability, reliability, and scalability of our infrastructure, while also implementing and maintaining security controls to protect AWS resources and data.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies.
- Manage managed Influx DB, Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL, and Amazon S3
- Design and implement automation processes for deployment and scaling of infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipeline tools.
- Ensure the security and reliability of our infrastructure.
- Work with development teams to identify and resolve infrastructure issues.
- Maintain and improve version control systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry security standards, such as SOC 2, PCI DSS, and HIPAA
- Implement and maintain security controls to protect AWS resources and data.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Follow secure coding practices, including secure configuration management and testing.
- Implement and maintain security monitoring and logging to detect and respond to security incidents.
- Continuously improve security processes and practices to stay ahead of emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Required Experience
- Years of Experience: 3-8 years
- Strong understanding of AWS and its services, especially IAM, managed Influx DB, Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL, and Amazon S3
- Experience with automated deployment tools, such as AWS Cloud Formation, Ansible, or Terraform
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools, such as Jenkins, Circle CI, or GitLab
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, Python, shell script (bash)
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
- Knowledge of security best practices, including encryption, network security, and identity and access management
- Experience with security monitoring and logging tools, such as AWS CloudTrail and Amazon Guard Duty
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Remuneration
INR 10-14 Lakhs/Annum
