Job Description
- In this role, you will be responsible for providing cybersecurity consulting services and support to our clients, including assessing and advising clients on technical and process-based controls for all manner of environments.
- You will perform team assessments, including end-to-end adversarial emulation of cyber attacks against customer organisations, and other technical cyber assessments including external penetration, web application and mobile security testing.
- You will expand the team’s capabilities through tool creation, research on offensive techniques, incorporation of threat actor intelligence, internal presentations and knowledge sharing.
- You will develop reports and presentations for both technical and executive audiences, and act as an advisor to C-level, security leaders and other customer stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Perform offensive technical cyber security engagements of a varied nature.
- Track and drive to the closure of any issues that impact the engagements and their value to clients, and interface with clients to address concerns, issues, or escalations.
- Advise clients on security for remediating discovered issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to expand capabilities to deliver further value to clients.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, focusing on offensive security, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in three of these pen testing areas: network, web application/mobile, cloud, social engineering, scripting, and tool development.
- Experience communicating technical details through reporting and presentations to executive audiences.
- Experience in operating system security across Windows, Linux, or Mac.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in offensive security, including OSCE, OSEP, OSEE, OSCP, CCSAS, CCT INF or relevant SANS courses.
- Experience in creating security tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, C#, C/C++, Rust, Nim etc.).
- Experience in four or more of the following: network protocols, threat intelligence analysis, system and network administration, project management, developing applications, technical incident response processes, source code review, and reverse engineering.
- Experience working with local Business and Management teams in driving consulting business generation, scoping and/or client management.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and public speaking skills.
