About Bootcamp Program
SVNIT, Surat is organizing a Bootcamp training program on capacity building for human resource development in Unmanned Aircraft Systems (Drone Assembly, Softwares, and Smart City Applications) in India under a project funded by MeitY (Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology).
Course Content
- Introduction to Drone System: Processor, Hardware, Software, and Interfacing
- Introduction of DGCA Rules
- Introduction of Drone Sensors and the Interfacing
- Computer Vision and Deep Learning for Drone
- Application Development: Path Planning, Localization, Object Detection, Object Tracking, etc.
- Case Study of Drone Applications: Industry 4.0 and Smart City Applications like Agriculture, Disaster Management, etc.
- Introduction to Anti-drone Techniques, Spoofing, and Antispoofing
- Practicals for Drone Applications: Awareness about Drone Simulators, ROS, Gazebo, Localization, Object Detection, Object Tracking, Navigation, etc.

- Studying in 3rd year or onwards or Graduate in BE/ B. Tech or Postgraduate in MSc/ MCA/ ME/ M. Tech or PhD
- Faculty/ Working Professional/ Staff from Industry/ Govt. organizations (with above education qualification)
