Eligibility
Master’s degree in Statistics or Operations Research or closely related field (Industrial Engineering, Applied Math, Scientific Computing, etc.); additionally, an MBA or Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) which is equivalent to master’s degree from reputed business schools will also be considered.
The right candidate will have excellent academic credentials and would likely be interested in pursuing an academic career in Decision Sciences (primarily, statistics, operations research, and business analytics).
Responsibilities
- Provide teaching support to the faculty.
- Assist Area faculty in ongoing research projects across a wide range of fields such as Business Analytics, Big Data, Operations Research, Time Series Analysis, Supply Chain Management, amongst others.
Job Purpose
The selected incumbent is required to provide teaching and research support to the faculty of Decision Sciences Area.

Duration
Initially for a period of one year and extendable to a maximum period of three years.

Salary
An all-inclusive monthly stipend in the range of Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 36,000/- plus an additional housing allowance of Rs. 8,000/- based on educational qualification and experience of the applicant.
