Eligibility Criteria
- B.E/B.Tech/Diploma candidates must have registered their names at the NATS Portal.
- Non-registered candidates are likely to be rejected.
- BBA/B.Com candidates must have registered their names at portalbopter[dot]com.
- The candidates who have passed their B.E/B.Tech/Diploma/BBA/B.Com degree in the years 2019, 2020,
- 2021, 2022 & 2023 are eligible to apply. Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination earlier than 2019 are not eligible.
- Candidates with postgraduate qualifications are not eligible to apply.
- Those candidates who have completed the qualifying examination as regular candidates are only eligible to apply.
- BE/BTech / Diploma/BBA/B.Com degree holders who had training or job experience for a period of one year or more after attaining the essential qualifications shall NOT be eligible for being engaged as an apprentice under the act.
Terms & Conditions

- The period of training will be 12 months commencing from execution of the Contract of Apprenticeship.
- Selected candidates have to submit the “Medical Fitness Certificate” at the time of joining.
- Verification of credentials shall be done for, selected candidates before the creation of a contract.
- In case of any deviation or non-conformity with the desired qualification, the candidature of the candidate shall be summarily rejected.
- No TA /DA will be paid to the applicants called for at any stage of the selection process.
- The Selected candidates must execute a Contract for 12 months of training as per provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 and rules framed there under.
- Before applying, the candidate should ensure that he/she fulfils the eligibility criteria and other norms
mentioned in the advertisement. - It shall not be obligatory on the part of the Integrated Test Range, Chandipur, where training is imparted, to offer any employment to any apprentice after completion of the period of his/her apprenticeship training.
- Suppression of facts will lead to disqualification at any stage of the selection process.
- ITR reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of seats for apprenticeship training.
- Any canvassing or personal follow-up to induce the process of selection of apprentice by and on behalf of any candidate shall lead to immediate cancellation of candidature.
- ITR reserves the right to withdraw/cancel the advertisement/selection process if circumstances warrant
without assigning any reason thereof. - In case of any dispute, the legal jurisdiction shall be that of the Hon’ble High Court of Odisha, Cuttack.
- The apprentices will not be provided any Govt. quarters/hostel accommodation/ transport by this establishment at the time of the Written/Interview and during the training period.
How to Apply?
- Applications are invited from the eligible candidates in the prescribed form given as annexure-‘A’ (form in .docx is also available on the website).
- The typed application along with the self-attested photocopies of documents (all educational mark sheets, Certificates (10″, 12%, Diploma, B.Tech/BBA/B.Com), Caste Certificate & Identity Proof) should reach to the “Director, Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur, Balasore, Odisha-756025” on or before 06™ October 2023 by Speed Post / Registered Post Only.
- The application form should be typewritten.
- Handwritten Applications except signatures will not be accepted.
- The sealed envelope containing the application form and other documents should be super-scribed as “Application for Apprenticeship Training: Category ……… & Subject/Discipline………… »
- All information regarding Written Tests/Interviews, Call letters, etc. shall be provided through the website only.
No hardcopy mailing of Written Test/Interview Call letters shall be done by ITR. - Responsibility of receiving, downloading and printing of Admit Card / Call Letter shall be that of the candidate.
- Candidates should keep a copy of the application for their records.
- Applicants are advised to keep a watch on the above website for any updates/changes.
Selection Criteria for Apprentice Trainee
- Selection will be made on the basis Written Test/ Personal Interview/ Both for shortlisted candidates
only. - It is mandatory to provide a percentage of the mark secured of essential qualification in the application
form. - Formula (e.g. CGPA X 10=Percentage) will be applied wherever the percentage of the mark of essential qualification is not available.
