Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Goa, Farmagudi, Goa, is organizing a Bootcamp Training Program for the capacity building for Human Resource Development in Unmanned Aircraft Systems (Drone and related Technology) in India under a project funded by MeitY (Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology).
Course Description
The course is named “Fundamentals of Allied Technologies for Drones” – In this course, we will explore the basics of drones, from the fundamentals of flight to the foundational concepts of artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, and UAS Communications in Drones
Course objective
The objective of this course is to teach participants the basic concepts of Allied Technologies of Drones and equip them with knowledge that will be sufficient enough for them to navigate the drone landscape using industry-standard tools and techniques.
Eligibility
- Studying in 1st Year/ Second Semester onwards of B.E/B.Tech./equivalent (or)
- Pursuing B.Sc./BCA/equivalent (or)
- Pursuing Post Graduation – M. E./M.Tech./ M. Sc./ MCA/Ph.D. equivalent (or)
- Faculty/Working Professional/Staff from industry/Govt. Organization (with the above Educational Qualifications)
- Basic programming experience in C/C++/Python and electronics would be helpful.
