Internship Details
Snowflake offers internship opportunities in their corporate data science team. This team applies machine learning to various domain-specific use cases across Legal, Sales, Sales Engineering, Alliances, IT, Professional Services & Training. This generalist role will provide an opportunity to work on a wide breadth of problems, applying a good mix of models & methods.

Desired Skill Sets
- Currently enrolled in an MTech degree program in a quantitative discipline: statistics, operations research, computer science, informatics, computer engineering, applied mathematics, economics, etc.
- Interest and basic training in one or more of Statistical Methods, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Optimization, Natural Language Processing and related topics.
- Competence in data wrangling using Python and SQL.
- Collaborative enthusiasm and effective communication skills.

- Work on developing data science-based solutions for various business problems.
- Collaborate with a team of high-performing analysts & data scientists to solve real-world problems.
- I have gained experience working in various areas such as forecasting, anomaly detection, behaviour modelling, churn analysis, recommendation engines, topic modelling, etc.
- Think creatively, proactively, and futuristically to identify new opportunities within Snowflake’s long-term roadmap for data science.
- Elevate the art of data science practised at Snowflake.
- Act as “customer zero” for Snowflake so we can continue to evolve an even more powerful, intuitive Snowflake product and demonstrate our internal Snowflake on Snowflake utilization.
