About Infosys Instep Internship 2024

The Infosys Summer Internship is an exclusive program for management graduates from select business schools in the country to gain experience working at Infosys on live projects and challenging assignments, network with different teams, get mentored by subject matter experts and leaders and achieve a pre-placement interview opportunity with various business units.

If you are a management graduate from one of our partner business schools in India, you could be part of the Infosys Summer Internship.
It is an eight weeks internship during which you will work with different teams at Infosys.
Based on the mid-term and final evaluation, top performers will get a pre-placement interview opportunity with their respective business units.

Application Process

Step 1: Information Seminar / Career Fairs

There are many avenues to learn more about InStep – Infosys’ Global Internship Program. Infosys conducts Information seminars and Career fairs in various universities.

Step 2: Apply to InStep

We strongly advise you to read tips on resumes in order to ensure all the desired information is covered.
Please make sure your resume consists of your phone number, areas of interest, CGPA (if available), key skills, past experience/academic projects, year of expected graduation, university name, stream of education, and work authorization details.
While writing to us we also encourage you to look through our list of projects for the upcoming cycle and tell us which projects you would like to work on.
You can choose any 3 projects which intrigue you and fit your career aspirations.

Step 3: Resume is Evaluated

Once your resume reaches the InStep team, it will be evaluated by a committee of specialists who will try to match your profile with program requirements.

Step 4: Telephonic Interview

After having a successful resume evaluation, candidates will be invited to attend a telephonic interview.
As the interview will be based on the applicant’s resume, it is advisable to be prepared to discuss all skills, strengths and experiences mentioned in the resume.

Step 5: Shortlisted Candidates

Receives an offer letter
Student confirms receipt of the offer letter

Tech interns work on real-time STEM Projects in trending areas such as: AI, Big Data, Analytics, Machine Learning, Cyber Security, Machine Modernization, IT, IoT, Mobile Application Development.
Students studying business are offered an opportunity to work on real-time projects on areas such as Business Case Development, Business Planning, Competitive Intelligence, Consulting, Go-to-market Strategy, Industry Analysis, and Market Entry Development, in domains such as Financial Services, Manufacturing, Retail & Consumer Goods, Energy, Communication & Services, Resources & Utilities, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Growth markets and Public Services.
