IIT Tirupati is offering a summer internship for pre-final year students of B.E/B.Tech/ B.Sc/ M.Sc/ B.A/ M.A from any recognised university.
About IIT Tirupati
The Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati (IIT Tirupati), established in 2015, is an autonomous Institute under Ministry of Education, Government of India. It is declared as an Institute of National Importance under the Act of Parliament of India (Institutes of Technology Act, 1961).
The IIT system has 23 Institutions of Technology. The IITs are well known both nationally and internationally for excellence in education and research in engineering and science. The research and academic programs are handled by outstanding faculty members and the best students in the country take admission to the IITs.
About the Internship
It is open to students in various disciplines including Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, Mathematics and Statistics, Mechanical Engineering, and Physics.
Roles & Responsibilities
The roles and responsibilities of the interns will be determined based on their respective departments.
Required Skill Sets
A basic understanding of concepts and skills specific to their department is required.
Eligibility
The internship is open to pre-final year students of B.E/B.Tech/ B.Sc/ M.Sc/ B.A/ M.A from any recognised university.
Duration
The internship will take place from 15 May to 14 July 2024.
How to Apply
Applications for the internship opening on 4th March 2024 and close on 31st March 2024. Registration is free and completed online via the IIT Tirupati website.
Stipend
IIT Tirupati will provide free accommodation to all selected candidates. The top 5 students per department will be paid a stipend of Rs. 5000/- per month.
