Job Description
Bloom Energy, a solid oxide fuel cell company, seeks a postgraduate intern to join its world-class team. This individual should be a dynamic professional who is looking for a rewarding future in one of today’s most exciting technologies.
Role and Responsibilities
- Machine Learning/ Data Analytics:
- Assist in analyzing diverse sets of imperfect data and finding common patterns, themes, and trends using Big Data tools and machine learning.
- Operations Research/ Statistical Analysis:
- Understanding of statistical learning and scheduling/strategy optimization and stochastic modelling
- Reliability / Quality analysis:
- Field failure analysis and modelling using statistical survival tools.
Required Skill Sets
- Strong background in statistical analysis, reliability analysis, quality analysis, modelling, optimization, estimation, and data analysis tools & techniques
- Proficient with Python/R/Java/Scala/Matlab or similar language – (Prefer Python)
- Experience with algorithm development and implementation (Python desired)
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Working with open-source databases and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in teams
