About BPUT Rourkela
The Biju Patnaik University of Technology ( BPUT ), Orissa, with its headquarters in Rourkela, came into being in November 2002 through an act of the government. The main objective of instituting the University was to ensure a high quality of students coming out of the technical colleges through a common curriculum and uniform evaluation. Today, the University has 137 constituent and affiliated colleges with around 100,000 students. The disciplines include engineering, architecture, business management, computer studies, and pharmacy. Several of these offer both undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

Eligibility
- Minimum Qualification – B.Tech./B.E. Degree in ECE/ ETC/ EEE/ Electrical/Mechanical or equivalent streams in relevant areas with first class and one year of experience preferable, OR
- M.E./ M.Tech Degree in ECE/ ETC/ EEE/ Electrical/Mechanical or equivalent streams in relevant areas with first class.
Stipend
INR 21,800/month
