Roles & Responsibilities
- Work effectively on an assigned project within Steam Power.
- Work closely with the design/projects/engineering community to identify business needs, create a problem statement, & develop functional specifications and support software development.
- Work closely with an identified mentor on an allocated project, and make presentations.
- Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with organization policies and procedures.
Eligibility
Qualification
Masters in Mechanical Engineering.
Desired Characteristics
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of Thermal power plant operation.
- Thorough knowledge of static and rotating equipment engineering.
- Deep understanding of Fans, blowers, and pumps design and laws.
- Knowledge of bulk material handling system design.
- Knowledge of HVAC and firefighting system design.
- Familiar with codes and standards.
- Capable of reading and understanding the engineering drawings of the equipment.
- Able to read the P&IDs and understand the process and equipment functions.
- Familiar with productivity tools like MS Office, Outlook, Autocad, and 3D software like inventor, solid edge, works, etc.
- Good teamwork, communicating effectively with team members on the progress and obstacles faced.
