Internship Details
Rubrik is currently seeking an innovative and driven intern to support their Security Culture and Awareness Program. The intern will primarily focus on the 2025 Cybersecurity Awareness Month campaign, while also enhancing global security awareness initiatives, with particular emphasis on the India office and the EMEA region. This role will involve close collaboration with the InfoSec team to design impactful awareness campaigns, analyze risk trends, and develop programs that recognize and reward positive user behavior, fostering a security-first mindset across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning the 2025 Cybersecurity Awareness Month campaign, creating engaging content and impactful events that resonate globally.
- Interact with internal department stakeholders and external vendors to coordinate events and execute campaigns effectively.
- Proactively engage with local office and regional representatives to learn about security risks and actionable items, and create tailored awareness campaigns based on these insights.
- Expand security culture program across the EMEA region, adapting activities to suit regional differences and needs.
- Collaborate with the InfoSec Security Operations Center (SOC) team to analyse organisational risk trends and vulnerabilities, translating insights into targeted awareness campaigns.
- Design, implement and operationalise an InfoSec Reward program that recognises and rewards employees for demonstrating positive security behaviours, fostering a culture of accountability.
- Produce creative and engaging materials such as newsletters, videos, infographics, and toolkits to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Support Security Champions or ambassadors by developing resources to help them advocate for cybersecurity best practices.
- Track and analyse metrics to evaluate the success of campaigns and initiatives, using tools like GSuite, Tableau, and Jira to create insightful dashboards and manage tasks efficiently.
- Stay updated with cybersecurity industry news and trends based on the latest reports to ensure security awareness initiatives are aligned with current threats and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- Proficiency in tools like, GSuite, Canva, Adobe Acrobat, Tableau, Jira and Confluence.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Creativity and the ability to think outside the box, bringing fresh ideas to security awareness campaigns.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with experience in creating engaging content.
- Project management capabilities for complex organisational programs.
- Ability to implement solutions, operational plans and roadmaps.
- Passion for cybersecurity and a proactive approach to problem-solving and engagement.
