About RIPE
Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT), in Jais, Amethi (formerly in Raebareli), Uttar Pradesh, India, is a training and education institute focusing on STEM and petroleum industry. It is an institute of national importance equivalent to IITs. It was formally opened in July 2008.
It has been accorded the Institute of National Importance status and a governance structure similar to that available to IITs & NITs etc. It admits undergraduate students from the rank list of students who have qualified for Joint Entrance Examination – Advanced (JEE Advanced) Examination.
Eligibility
- Btech. students in 2nd or 3rd year.
- Mtech. students in 1st year.
Requirements
- The student will pursue reaearch work under the supervision of one of the RDIPT faculty member.
- selection is based upon the academic achievements.
- Students must complete all examinations of the academic session 2024-2025 before the commencement of the Internship
Provisions
- No Internship Fee.
- Free hostel accommodation.
- Mess charges are applicable.
- Accommodation in the Hostel and Mess Facility (Chargeable basis) shall be provided to all the selected candidates during the course of this programme. Students will be provided a certificate on successful completion of the programme
Duration
This program would last 6 weeks starting from May 19, 2025 to July 11, 2025.
Timeline
- Opening Date of the Portal – February 28 2025.
- Closing Date of the Portal – April 10 2025.
General Instructions
- The selected students will stay at hostel in RGIPT campus at Jais and pursue research work with the one of the RGIPT Faculty.
- Eligible candidates are required to register ONLINE.
- After thoroughly verifying the entries, click SUBMIT button to finally submit the application. Please note that you will not be able to modify or change the data after you Submit your application.
- After successful submission of the application, take a print out of the final application and retain it for your record for the future requirement.
- Incomplete/Incorrect applications will not be entertained and will be summarily rejected.
- Any attempt to influence will lead to disqualification of the candidature.
- A student can submit only one application.
- The selected candidates for internship will be communicated via E-Mail only.
