About IFFCO
Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative (IFFCO) is a prominent Indian cooperative specializing in manufacturing and marketing fertilizers. Established in 1967 and headquartered in New Delhi, it is one of the largest cooperatives globally, boasting around 35,000 member cooperatives benefitting over 50 million Indian farmers.
Qualifications
- Four Years Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from University / Institute recognized by UGC/AICTE in the disciplines of Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Electronics and Civil.
- General /OBC candidates with a minimum aggregate of 60% and SC/ST candidates with 55% of marks are eligible to apply. Candidates with CGPA scores in BE/B.Tech degrees should be converted into percentages while filling out the application form.
- Candidates who have passed their degree in 2021 and thereafter can only apply. Those candidates whose final semester results are expected by August 2024 can also apply
- Candidates who have undergone Apprenticeship training or have job experience for a period of one year or more after attaining the above qualification are not eligible to apply.
Selection Process
- Eligible candidates will be required to appear for a preliminary Computer-Based Online Test in an open environment using their own resources, a computer or laptop with an internet facility.
- The candidates shortlisted based on their performance in the Preliminary Online Test will be called for the Final Online Test in a controlled environment at designated centres in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi/NCR, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Patna.
- The candidates are required to choose any two Test Centres out of the aforementioned centres in order of preference. Efforts will be made to allow the test centre in the order of choice given by the candidates. Once opted, requests for change in the test centre will not be entertained. IFFCO reserves the right to cancel any of these centres, and in that eventuality, the candidates will have to appear in the centre as decided by the Management.
- Candidates who are shortlisted based on their performance in the Final centre-based test will be called for a personal interview.
Medical Examination
After personal Interviews, short-listed candidates will be medically examined as per IFFCO’s medical standards before final selection.
Age Limit
30 years, as on 01st July, 2024.(relaxable by 5 years for SCs/STs & by 3 years for OBCs not belonging to creamy layer)
Training Period
Selected candidates will undergo one year of apprenticeship training. It must be clearly understood that this is purely an offer for Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act, 1961, and does not guarantee employment at IFFCO.

Stipend
Stipends and other benefits will be paid as per the Organisation’s rules during the apprenticeship period. Presently, the stipend is Rs. 35,000/ per month.

Location
At any of the IFFCO Plants located PAN India. However, the position is transferable in any of the existing or future establishments of IFFCO or its subsidiaries at any time.
