About ICFP 2025
The International Conference on Friction-Based Processes (ICFP) has been a global platform for advancements in friction-based manufacturing since 2014. The 4th ICFP 2025, hosted at IIT Tirupati, will bring together researchers, industry professionals, and academics to discuss cutting-edge developments in friction-based metal forming, welding, additive manufacturing, and related processes. With a focus on material deformation, joining techniques, and innovative applications, the conference fosters collaboration between industry, research institutions, and academia. Paper Submission Guidelines
Prospective contributors must submit a 250-word abstract online via the conference website by March 31, 2025. Upon acceptance, an extended abstract (up to four pages) must be submitted by April 30, 2025, following the provided guidelines and template. ICFP 2025 prioritizes novel advancements and applications in friction-based processes. All submissions must be original and will undergo review by a Technical Committee.
Instructions:
- Each author may submit only one presentation.
- Abstracts will be reviewed before acceptance.
- Accepted abstracts will be included in the conference materials.
- Presentation type and category may be adjusted based on availability.
- Email submissions and late entries will not be accepted.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation should be made in writing (stating your name and reference/registration number) and send to icfp@iapmfp.org In case of cancellation: On or before 31 July’25 you will receive a refund of 50% of your registration fee less bank charges and administrative fee. No refund will be made for cancellation received on or after 1 August’25
