Applications are invited for Apprentice Trainee in Architecture 2023 at Panjab University, Chandigarh. The last date of application is 1 August.
Board of Apprenticeship Training, Northern Region (Kanpur), sponsored by Ministry of H.R.D. Govt. of India, had introduced in the year 1999 a 12-month Apprenticeship Training Programme in the Senior Architect’s Office, Panjab University, Chandigarh. The new session will be operative from 1st October-2023 up to 30th September-2024, offering 12 months training for the following positions:
Eligibility
3-Year Diploma in Architectural Assistantship.
As per the Apprentices Act conveyed by B.O.A.T., (N.R.) Kanpur, The apprenticeship Training is for fresher’s only. Those who passed the course before three years are not eligible for apprenticeship training. In other words the gap between the date of declaration of results and date of recruitment should not be more than three years.

Important dates
The last date for the submission of applications (along with photocopies of the examination passed) is 01st August- 2023 up to 4:30 p.m. The list of eligible candidates will be displayed on the Notice Board of Architect Office, Panjab University, Chandigarh by 8th August-2023. The Interview for the shortlisted candidates shall be conducted on 21st August-2023 at 10:30 a.m. in the Architect Office, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Stipend
Rs. 3542/- p.m. (for 12 Months) (Likely to be increased to Rs. 8000/- p.m. after the approval of competent authority of Panjab University, Chandigarh.)
