About IIT Tirupati
The Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati (IIT Tirupati), established in 2015, is an autonomous Institute under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. It is declared an Institute of National Importance under the Act of Parliament of India (Institutes of Technology Act, 1961).
About Contest
The Pre-incubation cell at IIT Tirupati invites the application from students, stating their innovative technical idea succinctly, as described in the format of the attached annexure. After a thorough evaluation of the application received from students, based on technical merit and business viability, IIT Tirupati will facilitate innovators and researchers to turn their ideas into commercial ventures. Since innovation has no limits, thus anyone can come up with a novel business idea and seek technical guidance in any domain.
Objective
To nurture and promote technologically innovative ideas from students with business potential.
Proposal Features and Benefits
Funding
For the selected students, financial support is up to INR 1.5 Lakh. Further, Mentorship, IP filling and fundraising support are provided.
Assistance
Selected ideas will be supported for technical and business implementation.

Industry-connect necessary infrastructure support, business plan preparation etc.

Eligibility Criteria
Al current IIT Tirupati students, and researchers as an individual or teams (Maximum 4 members) looking for technological business idea realization.
