Posts

The consultant appointed under this research scheme would be responsible for:

• Maintaining web portal, and database, and being efficient in data management and analysis.
• Formulating a design strategy to draw out a workable application design and coding parameters with the essential functionalities.
• Developing working models to streamline the process.
• Supervising and conducting the performance test and trials.
• Deployment and installation of the applications to demonstrate the successful performance of the software.

• Essential Qualification& Experience:
  • Professionals having M.Sc./ MTech/ PhD. or a relevant postgraduate degree with experience in Artificial Intelligence / Data Science/ CSE/ IT/ ECE/ Biomedical engineering or related discipline with research and development experience and published papers.
  • Professionals having B.Sc./ BTech or a relevant graduate degree with proven extensive experience in Artificial Intelligence / Data Science/ CSE/ IT/ ECE/ Biomedical engineering or related discipline with research and development experience and published papers.
  • Retired Government employees drawing pay in a minimum pay band Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade pay of 5400/-at the time of retirement and having adequate working experience in the required domain/field.
• Desired Skills
  • Able to effectively work in web application development and database designing.
  • Experience in designing computer and mobile-based applications.
  • Experience in Data Management.

Scientist ‘D’ – Data scientist

Job Description

Scientist D appointed under this research scheme would be responsible for:

• Preparing, cleaning, transforming, and exploring data before analysis.
• Data mining to generate new information.
• Making the choice and implementing an appropriate machine-learning algorithm
• Using statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to measure and improve the outcome of a model.
• Tuning and optimizing model hyperparameters.
• Using analytical methods and machine learning models to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in datasets.
• Collaborating with data analysts, AI engineers, and pathologists
• Communicating the insights to pathologists and AI engineers

• Essential Qualification& Experience:

Job Description

Scientist D appointed under this research scheme would be responsible for:

• Creating and deploying AI algorithms to function.
• Developing Application programming interface to integrate data products and sources into applications.
• Using Docker technologies to create deployable versions of the model.
• Building Infrastructure as Code – Ensure that the environments created during model development and training can be replicated with ease for the final AI-based solution.
• Developing and maintaining architecture using leading AI frameworks.
• Using tools like GIT and TFS for continuous integration and versioning control to track model iterations and other code updates.
• Testing and deploying models

• Project Officer appointed under this research scheme would be responsible for the following and will be stationed at the coordinating center:
• Managing administrative and financial components of the project.
• Coordinating meetings, and draft minutes.
• Providing support for writing E-mails.
• Assisting the Scientists with database maintenance.

• Essential Qualification& Experience:
  • Graduate in any discipline with 5 years experience in administration /finance and accounts work.
• Desired Skills
  • Knowledge of file management and office work.
  • Knowledge and experience of budget-related work.
  • Experience in administrative & accounts works, and e-office file handling.
  • Proven knowledge of procurement, financial clearance, and handling multi-centric projects.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 Years of age.
• Monthly Emoluments: Rs 32,000/ per month (consolidated).

Data entry operator – Grade C

Job Description

DEO appointed under this research scheme would be responsible for the following.

• Keeping a written and digital record of the number of slides, forms, and questionnaires received from collaborating institutes.
• Labeling and assigning slide numbers to the slides received
• Entering data from patient recruitment questionnaires and cytopathology requisition forms into Excel sheets etc.
• Providing support for writing E-mails.
• Updating the database in real-time.

• Essential Qualification& Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer application / IT / Computer Science from a recognized institution/ university.
• Desired Skills
  • A speed test of not less than 15000 key depressions per hour through speed test on a computer Experience in writing mail, handling Excel sheets, entering data into Excel, and managing and updating the data to a cloud database.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 Years of age.
• Monthly Emoluments: Rs 31,000/ per month (consolidated).

Project Technician-II

Job Description

Project Technician appointed under this research scheme would be responsible for:

• Coordinating the activities of receiving and shipping back slides to and from the collaborating institutes.
• Labeling and assigning slide numbers to the slides received.
• Providing support for writing E-mails, and making phone calls to the collaborators.
• Scanning the cytopathology slides on a digital microscope.
• Keeping a written and digital record of the number of slides, forms, and questionnaires received from collaborating institutes.

• Essential Qualification& Experience:
  • High school* or equivalent with five years experience in the medical diagnostic laboratory from a government institution or recognized institute or certificate of one-year training in medical laboratory technology.
  • DMLT will be treated as 2 year’s experience.
  • BSc will be treated as 3 year’s experience.
• Desired Skills
  • Working knowledge of histopathology and cytopathology staining.
  • Proven experience working in a clinical diagnostic pathology lab would be preferred (experience certificate required).
  • Candidate should be hard-working and eager to learn.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 Years of age.
• Monthly Emoluments: Rs 17,000/ per month (consolidated).

• The contractual appointment will be made initially for one year and extendable till the completion of the project based on performance.

• The recruited project staff are eligible for leave as per project rules and will have to give an undertaking at the time of joining.
• The interviews for the advertised posts will be conducted physically, in-person mode, the date of which shall be intimated later via email to the shortlisted candidates only.
• The conditions for employment will be the same as that of the ICMR project staff on a contract basis. Candidates working/have worked under projects in ICMR institutes/centers will be given ‘One time’ age relaxation, as per the Institute rules and regulations.
• Age, qualification, experience, etc. will be reckoned on the last date of submission of the application form. Age relaxation will be applicable as per GOI rules.
• Hostel accommodation of any kind is not available at the Institute.
