HackerEarth invites applications for DAO Global Hackathon from all global locations. The last date to get registered for this opportunity is May 8, 2023.

About DAO Global Hackathon

The DAO Global Hackathon is an exciting 4-week virtual event where hackers will leverage existing tools and governance primitives to enable the next generation of DAOs. For this year’s hackathon will be leveraging the “Legos thesis” that enabled DeFi and applying it to DAOs. Developers will find novel use cases for existing tools and create integrations that haven’t yet been explored.

How to Participate?

  • Start by clicking the Register button and filling out your hacker profile.
  • From April 5, you will be able to browse the available Bounties.
  • All details around submission requirements, judging, and prizes will be provided there.
  • You can hack solo, but if you are looking for a team join the Hackathon Discord server to introduce yourself to the community and find or complete your team.
  • From April 5, you will also be able to find a calendar of hackathon events, webinars, team formation workshops and bounty-related presentations.

Rules

  1. You can hack on the bounties solo or as a team.
  2. We recommend forming a team of 3 to 5 members.
  3. You can either invite your friends to form a team or join other participants in forming one.
  4. Please head over to our Discord Server if you are looking for teammates.
  5. You will be able to work on your submission between Apr 10, 2023, at 12:00 PM UTC and May 07, 2023, at 10:00 PM UTC work on your hack during the allotted time only.
  6. It’s an online hackathon, so you can participate from anywhere.
  7. During the hackathon, you can make as many submissions as you want on a specific bounty.
  8. The last one will be considered the final submission.
  9. All elements of a submission must be open source for it to be considered valid.
  10. The intellectual property of your code belongs only to your team.
  11. By participating in the hackathon, you agree to the terms and conditions of HackerEarth.
