About the Event – Design & Innovation Clinic 2025
The Design & Innovation Clinic is a team-based engineering competition that challenges students to develop a working prototype. The competition has three rounds, culminating in an intense 36-hour prototyping challenge at CMTI, Bengaluru. Each team will receive mentorship to refine and implement their ideas.
Sessions will consist of speakers who will enlighten students on various product design and manufacturing intricacies that will be necessary for industrial production scenarios. Only those teams selected for the final all-nighter competition will be attending these. Renowned speakers shall be addressing the students selected for the clinic.

Eligibility
- BE (2nd & 3rd Year), Final Year BE/BTech, MTech, MCA, and PhD students
- Students graduating in 2025
Registration & Submission Procedure
- Interested and eligible can apply to the link given below!
- Upload team details and ideas.
- Teams must have 3-4 members from different engineering specializations (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics, etc.).
- Teams can be from the same or different colleges, and can include both Bachelor’s and Master’s students.

Fee Details
- Selected teams will present to the jury on April 7, 2025.
- A non-refundable fee of ₹500 per team is payable in cash at CMTI on the presentation day.
Prizes
- Winner: ₹30,000
- First Runner-up (2 teams): ₹20,000 each
- Second Runner-up (3 teams): ₹15,000 each
- Third Runner-up (4 teams): ₹10,000 each
