About the Challenge
EY Learning Solutions has launched a nationwide Power BI case study challenge for UG and PG students to prepare them for the future.
The challenge will take place in five phases:
- Individual Registration.
- Selection of Case Study.
- Undergo the sessions (live and eLearning) on Power BI.
- Diagnostic Assessment.
- Submission.
Eligibility Criteria
Students enrolled in any undergraduate and postgraduate program are eligible to participate, regardless of their year of study.

Winner
- Two months internship with EY India.
- Gift hamper worth INR 10,000.
- Half a year of access to any eLearning certification program at EY Virtual Academy.
1st Runner up
- Two months internship with EY India.
- A gift hamper worth INR 5000.
- Half a year of access to any eLearning certification program at EY Virtual Academy.
2nd Runner up
- Two months internship with EY India.
- A gift hamper worth INR 2500.
- Half a year of access to any eLearning certification program at EY Virtual Academy.
Note
The winners will secure pro-bono internships with EY. All registered participants attending the eight-hour session will receive a certificate of participation from EY. Additionally, all the registered participants will be eligible for a 20% scholarship on EY Virtual Academy programs.
How to Register?
Step 1: Registration
Participants, with only individual participation allowed, can register through this link.
Step 2: Selection of Case Study
The participants are required to select a case study (anyone) from the following list based on their interests. The participants will have access to the synopsis for each case study to make an informed decision.
- E-Commerce Analytics: Marketplace price optimization analytics.
- Supply Chain: Smarter stock management analysis.
- Social Media Analytics: Convert traffic into customers.
- Financial Analytics: Cash flow analysis.
Step 3: Get familiar with Power BI
This challenge aims to equip participants with the Power BI tool to excel in the case challenge. The comprehensive program includes access to eLearning materials and eight hours of live virtual training sessions. By participating in this program, students will be confident in their ability to tackle any Power BI task. Please note that the schedule for the eight-hour virtual live sessions will be shared with all registered students.
Step 4: Diagnostic assessment
All participants must complete a mandatory quiz to optimize their learning experience and tailor the challenge to their needs. Your score will be considered in the final evaluation of the case solution.
Diagnostic Assessment Details
- Duration: one hour.
- Number of questions: 30.
- Format: Multiple-choice questions (MCQs), no negative marking.
- Please note: Failure to participate in the quiz will result in disqualification.
Step 5: Final submission: Submit responses to the case study questions by 30 June 2024. The submissions should be shared in a Power BI file format (.pbix) and uploaded to Google Drive.
Registration Fee
The registration fee for the competition is INR 2000 + GST.

- Training and learning period: May 22, 2024, to June 11, 2024.
- Diagnostic assessment: June 15, 2024.
- Final submission: June 30, 2024.
- Result announcement: July 12, 2024.

- Stay committed to the spirit of fair competition.
- Failure to follow the rules will result in disqualification.
- Each participant can submit only one solution to the case study. Requests for resubmission requests will not be accepted.
- Deadlines will not be extended.
- Absence from the quiz will result in disqualification.
- Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
