DPIIT Internship 2023
Department for Promotion of Industry an,d Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry has introduced internship schemes for students pursuing Under Graduate/Post Graduate degrees or Research Scholars enrolled in recognized Universities/Institutions within India or abroad.
- The objective of the internship scheme is to give exposure to the students to understand the working culture of Govt. of India and to apprehend the schemes being run by this Department.
- The Internship Scheme will remain open throughout the year and applicants can choose a period of their choice ranging from- one month / two months / three months as per their requirements.
- The applications will be accepted online mode only.
Eligibility
Applicants pursuing Graduation/Post Graduation/Research in the following domain are eligible to apply:-
- Engineering
- Management
- Law
- Economics
- Finance
- Computers
- Library Management
Note:- Candidates from other domains can also be considered based on requirements on case to case basis.
Period of Internship
- The period of the Internship shall be a minimum of one month and a maximum of three months.
- After completing an internship, students will be awarded an Experience Certificate.
- Those who will not complete the requisite period of internship will not be awarded any certificate.
Maximum Number of interns selected at a time
Not more than 20.
Stipend
- Interns would be paid a stipend of Rs. 10000/- (Ten Thousand) per month.

Digital India Internship Scheme 2023 by MeitY
An internship is an opportunity for a student to secure first-hand and practical work experience under the guidance of a qualified and experienced Supervisor/Mentor. It also aims at active participation in the learning process through experimentation and putting into practice the knowledge acquired in the classrooms.
Eligibility Criteria
Indian students from recognized universities in India who have secured at least 60% marks in the last held degree or certificate examination and pursuing B.E/ B.Tech, M.E/ M.Tech/ MCA, MSc (Electronics)/ MSc(CS)/MSc(IT), DoEACC ‘B’ level shall be eligible.

Duration
- The minimum duration of the internship shall be of two months, extendable up to three months, depending on the performance of the candidate, the requirement of NIC and the time the Intern is willing to spend with NIC.

- The summer internship will start on 1st June 2023.

Ministry of Women and Child Development Internship
Objective
The objective of the ‘Internship Programme’ is to translate the Hon’ble PM’s idea of “SABKA SATH, SABKA VIKAAS, SABKA VISHWAAS, SABKA PRAYAAS” for building a self-reliant India.
Women students, scholars, social activists and teachers from non-tier-I cities and rural parts of India will be eligible for the program. The women students, scholars, social activists, and teachers (hereinafter referred to as interns) need to be enrolled in/associated with any university/academic/non-academic institution.
Duration
The Internship Programme will be available for a duration of two months throughout the year. Interns can select any of the two-month batches while submitting their applications.
Number of Interns
Ministry would take up to 20 interns per batch.
Stipend
- Each intern would be provided with a lump sum stipend of Rs. 20,000/- per month and reimbursement of travel costs (by Deluxe/AC Bus/3 Tier AC Train) for joining the Programme in the Ministry and returning back home at the end of the Programme.
- Interns proceeding on tour as part of the Programme would be reimbursed travel costs (by Deluxe/AC Bus/3 Tier AC Train) and DA as per extant GOI rates.
- The interns would also be awarded a certificate on successful completion of the Programme on terms such as submission/ presentation of paper reports of the work done.
How to Apply?
- Prospective interns are required to submit their applications online on the Internship Programme portal.
- The applications can be submitted between the 1st and 10th of every month.
- Interns can choose the batch for which they wish to apply for the Programme.
- Applications will be accepted only upto6 months in advance.
- Any candidate once selected for the internship shall not be eligible to apply for any subsequent.
Selection
The selection of Interns would be done by a Selection Committee duly constituted for this purpose. Where necessary, Ministry may also invite certain faculty members/subject experts from universities/reputed research institutes for the selection process.

Short-term Internship Programme 2023 at NHRC
- Besides the regular summer and winter internship programmes which are held in May-June and December-January every year,
- NHRC also offers opportunities throughout the year except during the months of May-June and December-January, to students from various streams especially from the law stream, to have attachment with the Commission in batches on a short-term basis for a period of 15 days.
- During the internship, the students are exposed to the functioning of various divisions of the Commission.
- They are also made aware of the process of complaints being attended to by the Commission as well as other issues being taken up.
- Allowing them to interact with the complainants also is an important feature.

NITI AYOG Internship 2023 (Unpaid)
Undergraduate/postgraduate students or research scholars enrolled in recognized universities/institutions in India and abroad can apply for the NITI Aayog Internship Scheme. They will work closely with NITI’s verticals/divisions/cells. Applicants will have to apply online by filling up the registration form.
