Research Centre Imarat (RCI) is a premier laboratory of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Missile Complex, DRDO spearheading R&D in a wide range of Avionics Systems for diversified defence and aerospace applications. RCI is entrusted with the responsibility of carrying out research and development in the technologies of Control Engineering, Inertial Navigation, Imaging Infrared seekers, RF Seekers & Systems, On-board Computers and Mission Software.

Application Procedure

  • Candidates are advised to visit the What’s New section on https://drdo.gov.in/ for detailed advertisement and submit an application online by clicking on the appropriate link.
  • Before applying, the candidates should ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria and other norms mentioned in the advertisement.
  • Registration of B.E / B.Tech / Diploma candidates on www[dot]mhrdnats[dot]gov[dot]in and ITI trade apprentices on www.apprenticeshipindia.org is mandatory and must possess a valid registration number before filling up the application form.
  • Candidate should not be less than 18 years of age as of 01-June-2023.
  • The candidates who have completed the qualifying examinations (Graduate, Diploma and ITI trade apprentices in 2020, 2021 and 2022) as regular candidates are only eligible to apply.
  • Candidates are requested to fill up the correct details against all the fields along with uploading scanned copies of all the mandatory documents (as per the list).
  • The marks obtained in the qualifying exam are to be mentioned in percentage.
  • In the case of CGPA, candidates are requested to convert the CGPA into Percentages as per their university norms and the same will be verified during document verification. [Candidates possessing a percentage more than 60% only may apply].

Selection Procedure

  • Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories will be applicable as per the provision of the Apprentices Act 1961, Apprentice Rules, 1992 and Apprenticeship (Amendment) Rules, 2019
  • Selection will be made on the basis of Academic Merit / Written Test / Interview as required, subject to satisfactory verification of the documents.
  • Details of Shortlisted Candidates for certificate verification will be published in the What’s New section on https://drdo.gov.in/ or informed via E-mail id mentioned in the bio-data for correspondence.
  • Candidates are required to bring Original and Self-attested copies of the documents mentioned below during document verification/joining:-
    Documents to be carried:
    • Signed printout of the Application submitted on the website.
    • 10th Mark sheet and certificate
    • B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma / ITI Final Mark sheet/ Provisional.
    • Degree / provisional Degree / Diploma / ITI certificate.
    • Caste Certificate (if applicable).
    • PWD Certificate (if applicable)
    • Any Photo ID card issued by Govt. of India like PAN Card / Voter ID / Driving License.
    • Aadhar Card (Mandatory).
    • Copy of the first page of the Bank Pass Book (State Bank of India, Preferable).
    • Medical fitness certificate issued by a Civil Assistant Surgeon.
    • Two Passport size photographs.
  • Selected candidates have to sign a contract in the portal (NATS / NAPS) on the date of joining as per Govt. of India rules.
  • Candidates finally selected will have to produce a valid Police Verification Certificate either from their place of last residence (for at least the past year) or permanent address at the time of joining.
  • No correspondence shall be entertained from the candidates Not selected for Apprenticeship training.
  • The Management reserves the right to amend/refix/cancel/suspend/the selection process at any time during the process without assigning any reason whatsoever.
  • The decision of the management shall be final and binding and no appeal of any kind shall be accepted/considered in this regard.
