About Hack-AI 2023

Through HACK-AI 2023, the participants can get a chance to showcase their coding skills through this fierce and competitive AI-based hackathon.

Structure of Hack-AI 2023

  • Round 1: In this round, the teams will have to solve the Round 1 Problem Statement provided and submit all the relevant files.
  • Mentoring sessions: Online sessions will be held to give the finalist teams some idea of the final Problem Statement.
  • Final round: Selected finalists will compete in an offline hackathon at IIT Bombay campus.

Timeline of Tech-Aid 2023

  • Last Date of Registration: October 2, 2023.
  • Round 1 Submission Deadline: October 8, 2023.
  • Finalist Announcement: October 15, 2023.
  • Final Round at IIT Bombay Campus: December 27, 2023.

How to Register?

Follow this steps for registration: Go to the website > Competitions > Hack-AI > Explore More -> Register > Fill all your details > You will be registered and now you must either Create a team/Join a team.

Who Can Participate?

Any individual with a valid ID card, Early stage startups, Upto 3 years old college passouts can participate in the competition.

Rules

  • Every team has to register online on the official Techfest website for the competition.
  • A Team ID will be allocated to the team on registration which shall be used for future references.
  • The decision of the organizers or judges shall be treated as final and binding on all.
  • No responsibility will be held by Techfest, IIT Bombay for any late, lost or misdirected entries.
  • All modes of official communication will be through the Techfest e-mail, participants are advised to keep track of all folders in their e-mail accounts.
  • Participants have to bring their own laptops during the competition.
  • Teams will be responsible for their devices, it is advised that laptops should be charged before the competition.
  • Mobile phones are not allowed during the competition.
  • The organisers reserve the right to change any or all of the above rules as they deem fit. Change in rules, if any, will be highlighted on the website and notified to the registered teams.

Why Should I Participate in Hack-AI 2023?

The competition provides the participants with real life problems which they have to solve by building an AI based program. In the final round, participants work together to solve the problems in a specific time.

How Many People Can Be There in One Team?

One team can have a maximum of 4 members.

How to Make Your Own Team?

Follow this process: Go to the website > (hover on) Competitions > Competitions > Hack-AI > Explore > Register > Fill all your details > Team -> Create a team > Use the Registered Mail ID of other participants to add them to your team. They must be already registered before adding them to your team.

What is the Registration Email ID?

The Gmail ID which was used to Sign In is the Registered Mail ID. It is a unique identity of any participant. It will be used in adding team members in a team, joining a pre-existing team etc.
