About HAL
The Company which had its origin as Hindustan Aircraft Limited was incorporated on 23 Dec 1940 at Bangalore by Shri Walchand Hirachand, a farsighted visionary, in association with the then Government of Mysore, with the aim of manufacturing aircraft in India. In March 1941, the Government of India became one of the shareholders in the Company and subsequently took over its management in 1942

Eligibility
- For Engineering Graduate Apprentices: Candidates should have successfully completed a Degree in
Engineeringfl’echnoiogy from a recognized university as mentioned at LA and the gap between
the date of joining and passing date of the qualification should not be more than 3 years, - For Technician (DiplomalApprentices: Candidates should have passed Diploma in
Engineering/Technology from State Board of Technical Education as mentioned at 18 and the gap
between the date of joining and the passing date of the qualification should not be more than 3 years. - For Graduate Apprentices in General Stream: Candidates should have successfully completed
Degree from a recognized university as mentioned at lC and the gap between the date of joining
and the passing date of the qualification should not be more than 3 years. - Reservations: The reservation for the engagement of Apprentices will be admissible as per The Apprentices Act 1951 & Rules and Subsequent amendments.
- Stipend: The Stipend will be paid monthly as per the Apprentices Act 1961 & Rules and Subsequent
amendments.
