The Test Engineer for Radiometer is responsible to execute tests for the Medical System. The incumbent designs, develops and executes test cases and procedures, implements innovative and effective test designs and assures appropriate test coverage; participates in identifying opportunities for test automation and develops automated test suites. You will be working in a team with software developers, designers, SW testers and our quality and regulatory affairs staff, service organization and product owners.. This position will be responsible for our testing, developing automatic test for Medical devices, and play an important role in the quality of our overall product. This position will report to AQT Manager in India Development Center
This position is part of the IA Radiometer located in Bangalore, India and will be is on-site/ hybrid. At Radiometer, our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses.
You will be a part of the SVV team at IA radiometer and report to the Software Engineer I responsible for our testing, developing automatic test for Medical devices, and play an important role in the quality of our overall product.
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Computer Science / Information Technology or related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in software testing in Medical Domain.
- 1+ years of experience in developing Automatic Test, Manages test plans, as well as experience with Visual Basic 6.0 / VB.Net.
- Experience in Testing in medical device software and working knowledge of FDA Quality Systems Regulation is desirable.
- Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server is a plus
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Programming knowledge in languages like C++, C#, Python, Java etc.
- Candidate should also have some basic knowledge of SQL/NOSQL Database and related stacks is good to have
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute both automated, manual test scripts/cases based on analyzed requirements using visual basic 6.0./VB.Net
- Use the Custom build test environment and automated testing tools to create, enhance/support the automated testing framework and ensure that the software requirements are fulfilled correctly.
- Investigate software, system problems and determine root causes for failures.
- Collaborate closely with highly skilled set Development Engineers/V&V Engineers who values WIN AS ONE principle in India & across the Globe to understand the functionalities and deliver a defect free application.
- Be involved in test lab management and improvement of test process activities.
- Ensure compliance to organizational policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
