In this role, you will:

Creating and maintaining MQ and sFTP connectivity (with the help of the connectivity team) to send the msg/file among different applications.
Code deployment, CI/CD automation, maintaining and managing production system (Cloud/noncloud) and non-production systems (Cloud/non-cloud), to ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security of the same.
Verifies Build, release and configuration management of production and non-production systems to ensures the deployment meets client’s expectations by interacting with infrastructure, change management, QA, DBA and application teams.
Coordinate the Service Management aspect of the services e.g. Disaster Recovery, vulnerability patching of servers, timely back-up and recovery scenarios of servers.
Coordinate Service Sustainability activities (leading and coordinating software and hardware upgrades).
Responsible for technical support of production applications and infrastructure.
Evaluates existing applications, platforms and provides recommendations for improving performance by conducting gap analysis, identifying feasible alternative solutions, and assisting in the scope of modifications.
Evaluate new technology options and vendor products.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

The candidate should have a good understanding of Messaging Queues (IBM MQ) and sFTP connectivity.
The candidate should have working experience on DB refresh, Role-swap(DR), Certificate upgrade
The candidate should have sound knowledge of Continuous Integration and Development tools such as Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, and TeamCity.
The candidate must also be highly familiar with configuration management tools, for example, Ansible, and Puppet.
The candidate should have a fair understanding of cybersecurity threats and work towards patching to mitigate the threats.
The candidate should have a fair understanding of Windows Administration.
The candidate must have working experience with scripting languages, for example (Powershell, and Shell).
The candidate must have working experience with system monitoring tools (e.g. Grafana/Genios).
The candidate should have the zeal to work on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.
Nice to have knowledge and hands-on experience in the banking industry, ideally, investment bank/Capital Markets.
