About MNIT Jaipur
The Institute was jointly established in 1963 as Malaviya Regional Engineering College Jaipur by the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan. Subsequently, on 26 June 2002, the college was given the status of National Institute of Technology. On 15 August 2007, it was recognized as the Institute of National Importance through an Act of Parliament. The Institute is fully funded by the Ministry of Education (Shiksha Mantralaya), Government of India.
Eligibility Criteria
- First class with not less than 60% aggregate (or) not less than 6.5 CGPI on a 10-point scale in B.E. / B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology / Electrical Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering and First class with not less than 60% aggregate (or) not less than 6.5 CGPI on a 10-point scale in M.E. / M. Tech. Degree with specializations in Computer Science& Engineering / Information Technology / Electrical Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering or related fields. OR
- First class with not less than 60% aggregate (or) not less than 6.5 CGPI on a 10-point scale in B.E. / B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology / Electrical Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering. and Experience: Two years of work experience in the field of Smart grids.
Desirable Qualifications
The candidate has expertise in Smart Grid, Demand Response Management, Load Forecasting, Power Management, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, and good command of programming in Python, Data analytics, and Meter Database Management System (MDBMS) handling will be preferred.
Salary
Rs. 31,000/- PM + 18% HRA as per Institute norms.
Nature of Appointment
The position is purely on a contract basis, with the initial appointment for a period of one year from the date of joining, extendable up to 3 years (the project duration) subject to the satisfactory performance of the individual.
Age Limit
- The maximum age limit for JRF is 30 years as of the last date of receipt of applications.
- The upper age limit will be relaxed up to 5 years for reserved category candidates (SC/ST/Persons with Disability (PWD)) and 3 years for OBC — Non-creamy layer candidates.
