Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) is a premier institute located in Himachal Pradesh, committed to excellence in research, education, and innovation in technology. SIAM JUIT (Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics – JUIT Student Chapter) is a student-driven community aimed at bridging the gap between applied mathematics and computer science. Our mission is to inspire learning and encourage innovation through interactive sessions, events, and community engagement.
Event Details
LUNIX is SIAM JUIT’s flagship annual event that brings together students from diverse disciplines to explore the intersection of mathematics, coding, gaming, and creativity. This multi-day festival features competitions, fun nights, and interactive speaker sessions. Highlights of LUNIX 2025 include:
- Byte the Bluff – a thrilling logic-based competition, happening on April 15, 2025.
- Gaming Night – for hardcore and casual gamers alike.
- Movie & Jamming Nights – to unwind and connect.
- Speaker Session by Dr. Gajendra Purohit, YouTuber and Founder of MathsCare, on April 14, 2025 at 4:00 PM.
Eligibility
Open to JUIT students. No prior membership in SIAM is required.
