Odisha Joint Entrance Exam (OJEE) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Odisha Joint Entrance Exam Cell for admission to First Year Degree Courses of B. Pharm, B. CAT (Film Editing), B. CAT (Cinematography and Sound Recording & Design), and Integrated MBA (5 Years).
OJEE is also conducted to offer lateral admission to the Second Year (Third Semester) of B. Tech./B. Pharm and First Year Masters Degree Courses in MBA, MCA, M. Tech, M. Plan, Pharm, M. Arch, M. Tech (part-time).

OJEE 2023 Application Fees
Applicants have to select either single or multiple courses as suitable depending on their educational qualifications. OJEE 2023 application fees will be decided based on the number of courses for which the candidate is applying. For a single course, the examination fee is Rs. 1000, and for the following addition to the course, Rs. 500 per course will be applicable.
OJEE Registration 2023
The candidates are required to apply only online as per the procedure described below. Further, applicants are advised to read and follow the “Instructions for Filling Application Form” that is uploaded on the OJEE official website.
- Candidates can apply for OJEE 2023 only through “Online” mode through the official website.
- Applicants not following the instructions shall summarily be disqualified.
- Candidates must have the following documents with them as references for future correspondence.
- Hard Copy/Printouts of the computer-generated Confirmation Page of the Registration Form.
- Proof of fee payment.
- The fee can be paid online through any of the following methods: Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking.
OJEE Eligibility Criteria 2023
Before applying for the examination, students should check the eligibility criteria. The complete details about eligibility are as follows:
B. Tech (4 Years)
- The candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics/Mathematics/Chemistry/Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/Biology/Informatics Practices/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject/Agriculture/Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/Entrepreneurship.
- The candidates must have passed a minimum of 3 years of Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category).
B. Pharm (4 Years)
- The candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/Biology subject.
B. CAT (4 Years)
- Cinematography: The candidates must have passed or appeared in 2022 Intermediate (10+2) in Science from Odisha/CBSE/ICSE/other State Board, or any equivalent recognized by Orissa Council of Higher Secondary Education Examination (CHSE).
- Sound Recording and Design: The candidates must have passed or appeared in 2022 Intermediate (10+2) in Science from CHSE, Odisha/CBSE/ICSE/other State Board, or any equivalent recognized by CHSE.
- Film Editing: The candidates must have passed or appeared in 2022 Intermediate (10+2) in Science/Arts/Commerce from CHSE, Odisha/CBSE/ICSE/other State Board, or any equivalent recognized by CHSE.
LE Tech (3 Years)
- The candidates must have passed a minimum of 3 years/2 years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in any branch of Engineering and Technology.
- The candidates must have passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by the University Grants Commission (UGC), with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and cleared 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.
- The candidates must have passed Diploma in Vocation (D. Voc.) in the same or allied sector.
LE Tech (Marine) (3 Years)
- The candidates must have studied Diploma in Marine, Mechanical, Electrical, Electrical & Electronics.
LE Pharm (3 Years)
- The candidates must have passed the Diploma examination in a Programme with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the appropriate Programme.
MBA (2 Years)
- The candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree of a minimum of 3 years duration.
- The candidates should have secured at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.
MCA (2 Years)
- The candidates must have cleared BCA/Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree.
- The candidates must have passed B.Sc./B.Com./B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or Graduation Level with additional bridge Courses.
- The candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.
Integrated MBA (5 Years)
- The candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination.
- The candidates must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying exam.
M Tech/M. Arch/M Plan (2 Years)
- The candidates must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the relevant field.
- The candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.
M Pharm (2 Years)
- The candidates must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
- The candidates must have obtained at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.
OJEE Exam Pattern
- The medium of examination is English.
- There will be multiple-choice type questions.
- Each question shall have 4 answers (including 1 correct answer) and the examinee shall have to select the right choice of answer in the allotted computer.
- Each correct answer will fetch four marks.
- 1 mark will be reduced for each wrong answer.
- No mark will be deducted or awarded for unanswered questions.
